Work with association to identify potential members and personally reach out to these individuals to participate in the association. An initial letter crafted to discuss the many pressing issues affecting the profession with follow-up and one-on-one meetings will help to solidify participation. Communication Regular communication on important issues is essential to the success of this organization. Innovate & Organize can structure a system to effectively communicate with membership and keep them apprised of important issues both within the legislative arena and within the appropriate administrative agencies. Administrative Functions Arrange regular meetings with association membership and Board meetings for leadership. Oversee dues mailings and record keeping with regular reports updates provided to the Board. Annual Membership Meetings Annual membership meetings are an important part of every professional organization. This annual event can include vendor representation, continuing education credits, guest speakers, workshops developed to address specific issues. By focusing on vendor participation, the annual meeting can be turned into a revenue generator for the association to help with future projects and initiatives. Newsletters An important aspect of association management is keeping members updated on issues that affect their profession. Innovate & Organize can work with association leadership to craft a quarterly newsletter highlighting specific association events, state and federal legislative updates, regulatory news and other information of interest to the general membership. |
