Grassroots Organizing

Organizing and maintaining a proprietary “Key Contact” system for clients.
Through member contact, Innovate & Organize can provide the client organization with a list of key contacts who already have developed relationships with key legislators. These contacts can make a difference when an issue arises at the State Capitol and phone calls and meetings must be made immediately.

Communications support
Assisting an organization with the drafting of sample letters-to-the-editor on important legislative issues, while generating letters and phone calls to legislators. These important communication tools can bring a legislative issue to the forefront during an extremely hectic session.

Events
Planning legislative receptions and regional/local events. These events not only introduce members to their legislators, but also can serve as an opportunity to educate legislators about the issues affecting the profession by bringing together high-level contacts from a variety of groups.

Guidance, tools and ongoing support
Arming members with the information they need to make a difference is the primary goal of grassroots workshops organized and facilities by Innovate & Organize. We work with the group to make them comfortable with the process and provide them with the tools to communicate effectively with legislators, local officials and the media.
